These are the highest types of heels, up to 8 inches in some cases. As a result of their thin base, they could be very difficult to walk in. High quality ones are made from leather uppers, combined with padded insoles. These are made to cushion the balls of the feet. You might prefer stilettos with thick corned heels as they provide better stability.

When choosing heels, you need to make sure they fit. Wear them, walk around in the store make sure you are comfortable in them. For ladies with smaller feet, you may find stilettos quite uncomfortable as a result of the angle of tilt and the force on the ball of your foot. For heels that are higher than 2 inches, do not spend too much time on your feet while wearing them.
