“Bangee sportswear with ’80s influence” could be a way of describing Alexander McQueen’s show for Givenchy, staged in what was set up to look like a gymnasium complete with winner’s podium and high-powered fans to blow up the models’ ponytailed manes.

Most of the collection was made up of tracksuits with high heels, but there was also a white leather boiler-suit, sexy black pantsuits with yellow stitching, and a leather patchwork coat in brown, acid-green and white.
